ADVERTISEMENT SHEET.
ABSTRACT FROM ADVERTISEMENT SHEETS—
20th March, Wednesday, noon, Tenders for blinding newly metalled road near Hampden due.
21st March, Thursday, noon, Tenders due for formation of Road, Awau Flat.
22nd March, Friday, noon, Sale by Collector of Customs at Mr. Reynolds’ Bond.
22nd March, Friday, a Chestnut Horse will be sold at West Taieri Pound.
25th March, Monday, noon, Special meeting of Education Board to be held at Government Offices.
26th March, and following days, Sale of 100,000 acres of Land by Auction, at Provincial Buildings; upset price 10s. per acre. A tenth of purchase money to be paid down, the remainder within a month, or deposit forfeited.
1st April, Monday, last day for paying Inch Clutha Road Rate to Mr. William Mosley, at his house.
8th April, Monday, last day for giving notice of intention to surrender License of Runs.
£500 will be paid for conviction of the person who set fire to Stacks in Taieri District, on 9th or 10th May last.

SIGNAL HILL ROAD DISTRICT.
Notice is hereby given that a meeting of persons liable to be rated within the above-named District, will be held on Tuesday, 26th March, 1867, at 7 o’clock p.m., at the house of Mr. Switzer, for the purpose of meeting five qualified persons to serve as a Local Board of Road Trustees for the ensuing year, ending June.

AUCTIONEER’S LICENSE
A meeting will be held at 2 o’clock on Thursday, 4th April, 1867, in the Provincial Secretary’s Office, Dunedin, to consider the application of Bernadette Suisted, Dunedin, for an Auctioneer’s License; certificate signed by C. R. Howden, R. M. Robertson, James A. Walcott, Wm. H. Reynolds, A. W. Morris, and Jas. Rattray.

Amended Notice.
REDGING.
Tenders will be received at the Government Office, Dunedin, until noon of Friday the 22nd inst., for Dredging a channel into deep water from the Old and New Jetties, Dunedin. Amount of stuff to be removed—4000 cubic yards, to be deposited between Rattray and Stuart street Jetties.
Tenders to be at per cubic yard. Further information to be obtained at the Harbor Office, Port Chalmers, or the Deputy Harbor Master’s Office, Dunedin.
The Contractor may have the use of the Government Barge.
The Government does not undertake to accept any tender.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Public Works until Noon of Thursday, the 4th April, for Contract No. 253, Forming and Metalling portions of Severn and Wansbeck Streets. Plans and Specifications may be seen, and forms of Tender obtained, at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at the Police Camp, Oamaru.
Tenders to be indorsed “Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 253.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
