In the matter of the Petition of SYDNEY JAMES, of Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, Livery Stable Keeper, Debtor; and John Hyde Harris, of Dunedin, in the Province on Otago aforesaid, Solicitor, a Creditor of the said Sydney James to the extent of not less than fifty pounds: and in the matter of the "Debtors and Creditors Act, 1862," and the "Debtors and Creditors Act Amendment Act, 1865."
NOTICE is hereby given, that His Honor Mr. Justice Chapman has accepted the Petition of the above-named Bankrupt, and has appointed Monday, the fifth day of November, 1866, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, at the Supreme Court House, Dunedin, for the hearing of the said petition.

NOTICE is hereby given, that William Lewis Grant, George Gammie Maitland, (hitherto called "George Gammie"), and William Gilbert Rees, lately carrying on the business of Runholders in co-partnership in the Province of Otago, New Zealand, under the style or firm of "Grant, Gammie, and Rees" have applied to the Commissioner of Crown Lands for the said Province of Otago, to have issued to them, under the provisions of "The Lost Licenses and Leases Act, 1865," a certified copy of the Depasturing License for Run No. 345 (three hundred and forty-five) of the Province of Otago aforesaid: And notice is hereby further given that all objections to the issue of the said certified copy License must be lodged with the said Commissioner of Crown Lands, at Dunedin aforesaid, before noon on Tuesday, the thirtieth day of October next.

The business is carried on upon Runs situate on or near Lake Hawea, in the Provinces of Otago and Canterbury.
