THE following Schedule of charges for the Storage of Powder in the Magazine at Lawrence, Tuapeka, is published for general information.

SCHEDULE of charges to be paid on packages of Gunpowder deposited in the Powder Magazine at Lawrence, Tuapeka.

For each and every barrel or package containing 50 lbs. of Gunpowder and upwards, for any period not exceeding four weeks................... 1 0

For each and every barrel or package containing less than 50 lbs. for any period not exceeding four weeks..... 0 6

I, THE Undersigned Amos Alexander Neill, hereby make application to register the "Mountain Water Race Company, Registered," under the provisions of the "Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865," and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely :—

  1. The name and style of the Company is the "Mountain Water Race Company."
  2. The place of operations is at St. Bathans.
  3. The nominal Capital of the Company is four thousand pounds (£4000), in ten (10) Shares of four hundred pounds (£400).
  4. The amount already paid up is four thousand pounds (£4000) sterling.
  5. The name of the Manager is Amos Alexander Neill.
  6. The Office of the Company is at St. Bathans.
  7. The names and several residences of the Shareholders, and the number of Shares held by each at this date, are as follows :—
