DUNEDIN WATER WORKS COMPANY.

(Amendment and Alteration of Act.)

NOTICE is hereby given that application is intended
to be made to the General Assembly, at the
ensuing Session thereof, for leave to bring in a Bill to
amend “The Dunedin Water Works Act, 1864,” by
repealing Section 12 of the said Act, enabling the
Company to borrow money on mortgage, and for
granting other powers in lieu thereof, and for enabling
the Company to let meters for hire, and for providing
against the using or taking of the water of the
Company without agreement, and for other purposes.

And notice is hereby further given that copies of
the proposed Bill will be deposited in the Private Bill
Office, and at the Office of the Colonial Secretary,
within 14 days after the commencement of the said
Session.

I the undersigned, Alexander M’Lean, hereby make
application to register the “St. Bathan’s Gold
Sluicing Company, Registered
,” under the provisions
of the “Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act,
1865,” and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the
following statement is, to the best of my belief and
knowledge, true in every particular, namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is the “St. Bathan’s Gold Sluicing Company.”

  2. The place of operations is at St. Bathan’s.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is one thousand five hundred pounds in one hundred and fifty shares of £10 each.

  4. The amount already paid up is nine hundred and fifty pounds sterling.

  5. The name of the Manager is Alexander M’Lean.

  6. The office of the Company is at Gaffney and M’Garry’s, St. Bathan’s.
