THE decision of the Supreme Court in the matter of the Attorney General v. Jones having been given in favor of the Crown, the attention of purchasers of land under the "Otago Land Regulations, 1856," is directed to the following clause of the "Waste Land Act, 1863," No. 2:

COMPOUND.

  2. To take a Crown Grant in fee simple without conditions, for two-thirds in value of the land comprised in such certificate, to be ascertained to the satisfaction of the Commissioner of Crown Lands.

  3. To take a Crown Grant in fee simple, subject to the tax imposed by this Act and the provisions hereof relating thereto.

OTHERWISE TO STAND ON THEIR RIGHTS.
