HAMILTON LICENSING DISTRICT.

IN terms of Section 12 of the Licensing Ordinance, 1864, notice is hereby given that a meeting of Justices will be held in the Resident Magistrate’s Court House, Hamilton, on Tuesday, the 14th March next, at 12 noon, for the purpose of taking into consideration all applications for Publicans’ Licenses, and for the Transfer, Renewal, or Removal of such Licenses, of which due notice shall have been given to the Clerk of the said Court, as directed by Section IX of the said Ordinance, at which time and place all persons having business thereat are required to give their attendance.

THE Clerks to the Bench may obtain any of the Forms required by the Ordinance by applying to the Provincial Secretary.

NOTICE.

THE owners of the following Goods, now lying in the Jetty Shed, are requested to pay the expenses due on them on or before the 28th February, or they will be sold:—

Dunedin Jetty Shed, Feb. 7th, 1865.

THE following Chests and Packages, belonging to the persons after-mentioned, will be sold by Public Auction at the Jetty Shed, on Wednesday, the 22nd inst., if not claimed and expenses paid:—

IMPOUNDED on the 1st day of February, 1865, by Alexander M’Pherson, for trespassing on Mr. Smith’s Station, one Bay Mare, no brand or particular mark; one Bay Mare, with three white feet, small blaze on face, branded T near shoulder; one Black Gelding Pony, branded B G near shoulder. The above have been running on Mr. Smith’s Station for the last two years and done considerable damage, for which six pounds damages are claimed—Owners unknown, and in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the Public Pound, Tokomairiro, on Tuesday the 7th day of March, 1865, at 12 o’clock noon.
