NORTH TOKOMAIRIRO HUNDRED.

D. M’Master, John Hardy, J. E. Brown, H. Clark, R. Murray, P. M’Gill, Jas. Gray, Fred. Twiss, Jas. Scott, Andrew Kay, W. T. Cumine, Smith Brothers.

In terms of the 60th clause of the Waste Land Regulations, I hereby call meetings of the persons whose names appear in the above lists, to elect from amongst themselves, persons to act as Wardens in their several Hundreds. Places and times of Meetings and number of Wardens to be elected as under, viz:-

Otepapo Hundred, at Mr. Cormack’s Barn, on Friday, the 24th instant, at 12 o’clock noon, to elect Four Wardens.

Dunedin Hundred, at the Land Office, on Wednesday, the 22nd instant, at 12 o’clock, to elect Four Wardens.

Waihola Hundred, at the Court House, Tokomairiro, on Wednesday, the 1st day of March, at 12 o’clock, to elect Three Wardens.

South Tokomairiro Hundred, at same place and date, after election of Wardens for Waihola, to elect Three Wardens.

North Tokomairiro Hundred, same place and date, after election of Wardens for South Tokomairiro, to elect Three Wardens.

DUNEDIN LICENSING DISTRICT.

IN terms of Section 12 of the “Licensing Ordinance, 1864,” notice is hereby given that a Meeting of Justices will be held in the Resident Magistrate’s Court House, Dunedin, on Tuesday, the 14th March next, at twelve noon, for the purpose of taking into consideration all applications for Publicans’ Licenses, and for the Transfer, Renewal, or Removal of such Licenses, of which due notice shall have been given to the said Clerk of the said Court, as directed by Section IX. of the said Ordinance, at which time and place all persons having business thereat are required to give their attendance.

THE following Chests and Packages, belonging to the persons after-mentioned, will be sold by Public Auction at the Jetty Shed, on Wednesday, the 22nd inst., if not claimed and expenses paid:—

IMPOUNDED, at East Taieri, on the 8th day of February, 1865, by Mr. Callender, one bay Pony Mare, no visible brand; one dark bay Filly, progeny of the above, no brand; one dark bay Horse, branded JC (conjoined) and B, the JC blotched, near shoulder, like small star near side, under saddle; 1/2 off shoulder, damages claimed, £2 each. Also, the same day, by Mr. Cramond, one bay Entire Colt, white stripe down face, no visible brand, blind near eye, supposed to belong to Mr. McColl. And in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the public pound, at East Taieri, on Friday, the 10th day of March, 1865, at 12 o’clock noon.

IMPOUNDED, on the 10th day of February, 1865, by John M’Garigle, for trespassing on his enclosed lands, at the White Swamp, West Taieri, one black Gelding, branded C on near shoulder, two hind feet white, long tail, owner unknown; and in default of being released, the above Gelding will be sold by auction, at the public pound, North Dunedin, on the tenth day of March, 1865, at 12 o’clock noon.
