FOOTPATHS IN PORT CHALMERS.
NOTICE.—The following Footpaths, that is to say, the Footpaths in Mount Street, Grey Street, Scotia Street, Magnetic Street, George Street, Currie Street, Constitution Street, and Wickliffe Terrace, having been well and sufficiently made and completed, for the use and accommodation of Foot-passengers, I, the Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance of the “Footpath Ordinance,” passed in the year 1847, and the “Empowering Ordinance,” passed by the Superintendent and the Provincial Council of the Province of Otago in the year 1854, do hereby declare the said Footpaths to be Public Footpaths, within the meaning of the said first-mentioned Ordinance.
Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Otago, at Dunedin, this twenty-sixth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-five.

ASSESSMENT FOR STOCK ON RUNS
Nos. 53 AND 54.
HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that
CHARLES WORTHINGTON, Esquire,
(Warden, Waitahuna)
has been instructed to levy an Assessment, for the year ending 30th June, 1866, on all cattle, at the rate of 2s. 6d. per head, and on all sheep at the rate of 6d. per head, per annum, depasturing on the said Runs Nos. 53 and 54.
The Assessment for the half-year ending 31st December, 1865, must be paid forthwith, and for the second half-year on or before 1st January next. In future the assessment will be levied and must be paid in advance on or before 1st July and 1st January in every year.
All cattle and sheep found on these Runs after the 15th day of November next, on which the Assessment has not been paid, will be impounded.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Public Works, until noon of Monday, the 13th November, for Contract No. 149:—
Erection of Fence at the Whare-kuri Bridge, on Road “Oamaru to Wanaka Lake.”
Specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at the Police Station, Oamaru.
Tenders to be indorsed “Roads and Works, Tender for Contract No. 149.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any Tender.”

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership heretofore existing between myself, Ralph Donkin, William Crossley, and Charles Gordon Ross, as Engineers and Millwrights, and Brass and Iron Founders, in Dunedin, under the style of “Charles G. Ross and Co.,” has this day been dissolved by me.
Dated at Dunedin, this twenty-eighth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-five.
