NOTIFICATION
Of the Establishment of a Public Pound at West Taieri.
Superintendent’s Office,
Dunedin, 12th August, 1865.
NOTICE is hereby given, that by virtue of the powers vested in me by the “Impounding Ordinance, 1862,” I have established a Public Pound on River Section numbered 35 on the Record Map of the District of West Taieri, in the Province of Otago, and that I have appointed
Michael Tynan,
of Outram, in the said Province, Publican, to be Keeper of the said Pound.

NOTIFICATION
Of the Establishment of Public Pounds at Waipori and Maunga Atua.

NOTICE is hereby given, that by virtue of the powers vested in me by the “Impounding Ordinance, 1862,” I have established two Public Pounds, the one situate on the north-west corner of the Waipori Township Reserve, and the other situate in the Educational Reserve, numbered 2 of 90, block II, Maunga Atua District, in the Province of Otago, and that I have appointed
James Henderson,
of Lake Waipori, in the said Province, Settler, to be Keeper of the said Pounds.

HAMILTON LICENSING DISTRICT.
In terms of Section 12 of the “Licensing Ordinance, 1864,” Notice is hereby given that a meeting of Justices will be held in the Resident Magistrate’s Court House, Hamilton, on Tuesday, the 12th September next, at 12 noon, for the purpose of taking into consideration all applications for Publicans’ Licenses, and for the Transfer, Renewal, or Removal of such Licenses, of which due notice shall have been given to the Clerk of the said Court, as directed by Section IX of the said Ordinance, at which time and place all persons having business thereat are required to give their attendance.

PORT CHALMERS EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.
NOTICE is hereby given, that the Education Board, in virtue of the powers vested in them by the “Education Ordinance, 1864,” have been pleased to nominate and appoint
Messrs. Thomas Innes,
James Matheson,
Thomas Tayler,
William Thomson,
to be School Commissioners, to exercise all the powers, and to perform all the duties committed to or imposed upon the School Committee of Port Chalmers Educational District by the said Ordinance.

NOTICE.
The Partnership hitherto existing between Messrs. Whittington and Scanlan, Hotel-keepers, “Waipori Junction,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. The business will in future be carried on by Messrs. J. W. Scanlan and Co., who will receive and pay all debts due to and by the late firm of Messrs. Whittington and Scanlan.
