NOTICE is hereby given, that the Otago General Road Board has appointed

JOHN HARDY, Esquire,

to be Clerk to the said Otago Board, vice Mr. John Wesley Jago.

CONTRACT No. 125.—DUNEDIN TO TAIERI FERRY.

FRESH TENDERS will be received at the Government Office, Dunedin, until noon of Monday, 19th June, 1865, for Contract No. 125—Supply of 1300 cubic yards Road Metal.

Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works, Tender for Contract 125.”

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest tender.

AUCTIONEER’S LICENSE.

IN accordance with Clause 8 of the “Licensed Auctioneers’ Ordinance, 1862,” a Special Meeting will be held in the Provincial Secretary’s Office, Dunedin, upon Thursday, 29th June, 1865, at 2 o’clock p.m., to consider the application of Joseph Lazarus, of Dunstan Creek. The following householders have signed the certificate:—William Evans, Robt. James, Joseph Mellors, Thomas Mulvey, J. C. Campbell, A. C. Paterson.
