NOTICE

Of appointment of Commissioners for the City of Dunedin.

HIS Honor the Superintendent of Otago directs it to be notified that in exercise of the powers vested in him by the "Dunedin Town Board Dissolution Ordinance, 1865," he has nominated and appointed

JOHN BATHGATE, Esq.;
RICHARD BOWDEN MARTIN, Esq.;
JAMES MELVILLE BALFOUR, Esq., C.E.,

to be Commissioners for the City of Dunedin under the said Ordinance; and further, that he has appointed the said John Bathgate to be Chief Commissioner.

TUAKITOTO DISTRICT ROAD BOARD.

MEETING FOR ELECTION OF DISTRICT BOARD OF ROAD TRUSTEES. β€” The Ratepayers in the Tuakitoto Road District having failed to attend the meeting for the election of District Road Trustees, called by advertisement in the Government Advertising Sheet for 8th March, 1865, notice is hereby given that a Meeting for the above purpose will be held at the house of Mr. Peter Cunninghame, within the said district, on Tuesday, the 25th day of April, at 1 o'clock p.m.

Special attention is directed to the 7th and 9th sections of the "Roads Ordinance, 1856," regulating the proceedings for the Election of District Road Trustees.
