PROCLAMATION,
Reserving and Withdrawing for the purposes of Sale certain Waste Lands of the Crown, situate in the Dunstan Gold Field, in the Province of Otago.
By His Honor JOHN HYDE HARRIS, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS it is expedient that the Lands hereinafter described should be reserved and withdrawn for the purposes of sale;
Now therefore I, John Hyde Harris, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, by virtue and in exercise of the powers delegated to and vested in me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that I do reserve and withdraw for the purposes of sale the Waste Lands of the Crown situate in the Dunstan Gold Field, and hereinafter particularly described, that is to say—
All that area, being block I, Leaning Rock District, in the Province of Otago, containing by admeasurement one thousand two hundred and thirty-one acres (1231) two (2) roods and one (1) pole, more or less; bounded towards the north-west by the township of Clyde, six thousand seven hundred and ninety-four links (6794); towards the south-west by the said township, twelve thousand eight hundred and forty-eight links (12,848); towards the north by Crown Lands, twelve thousand and nineteen links (12,019); towards the north-east by Crown Lands, five thousand and ninety-eight links (5098); towards the east by Crown Lands, seven thousand seven hundred and eighty-four links (7784); towards the south-east by Crown Lands, eight thousand nine hundred and ninety links (8990); and towards the south-west by the Clutha river, four thousand nine hundred and twenty links (4920), be all the above measurements more or less, being the whole of block I, Leaning Rock District, excepting sections 42, 44, and 45, as the same is delineated on the record map of the said district.
Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Otago, at Dunedin, this eleventh day of April, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-five.

Of Governor having assented to certain Ordinances.

WHEREAS in the Nineteenth Session of the Provincial Council of the Province of Otago, held in the twenty-eighth year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, there were passed by the said Council the following Bills (that is to say):—
"Tokomairiro District Roads Lands Bill, 1864;"
"Caversham and Green Island District Roads Lands Bill, 1864;"
"Medical Practitioners Bill, 1864;"
"Education Reserves Bill, 1864;"
"Education Reserves Management and Leasing Bill, 1864;"
"Otago Provincial Representation Bill, 1864;"
"Port Chalmers Municipal Estate Bill, 1864;"
And whereas the said Bills were, on the twelfth day of November, presented to me, as Superintendent of Otago, for the assent of His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand: And whereas on the
