It is hereby notified that a Writ issued for the Election of a person to serve as a Member of the Provincial Council for the Manuherikia District, in place of William Dick Murison, Esquire, resigned, has been returned with a Certificate to the effect that

Householder, Dunstan,
has been duly elected.

to be Warden of the Sub-District of Cromwell.

HULK FOR SALE.
TENDERS will be received at the Superintendent’s Office, Dunedin, until noon Friday, 7th April, 1865, from parties willing to purchase the Hulk “Thomas and Henry,” as she now lies at Port Chalmers. The Government will not be bound to accept the highest or any of the tenders.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership business of Butchers, &c., hitherto carried on by the undersigned, Edward Menlove and Jeremiah Jones, under the style of “Menlove and Jones,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent, and that from henceforth the said business will be carried on by the said Edward Menlove : And notice is further given that all debts due by, or to the said firm, will be paid or received, as the case may be, by the said Edward Menlove.

NOTICE is hereby given that the co-partnership carried on for some time past at Clyde, Dunstan, by Jean Desire Ferand and Robt. M’Pherson, under the firm of J. D. Ferand and Co., as Wine and Spirit Merchants and Cordial Manufacturers, was this day dissolved by mutual consent. Mr. J. D. Ferand will continue to carry on the business alone, and is empowered to discharge and settle all debts due to and by the said co-partnership concern.
