AUCTIONEER’S LICENCE
In accordance with Clause 8 of the “Licensed Auctioneers’ Ordinance, 1862,” a Special Meeting will be held in the Provincial Secretary’s Office, Dunedin, upon Thursday, the fifteenth day of September, 1864, at 2 o’clock p.m. to consider the application of Shadrach Edward Robert Jones. The following Householders have signed the Certificate required by the said Ordinance:— A. G. Fisher, R. B. Martin, Alfred Cleve, Royse, Mudie and Co., Henry Nathan, S. S. and A. Lazarus.

ROAD DEVIATIONS, KAIHIKU DISTRICT.
The Road Trustees of the said district are invited to meet me at the house of Mr. William Dallas, at noon of Wednesday, the 21st day of September, 1864, in reference to the proposed Road Deviations in the said district.

All persons interested in the proposed Road Deviations in blocks I, II, III, IV, V, and VI of the said district, are invited to meet me at the Alexandra Hotel, Molyneux Township, at noon of Wednesday, the 14th day of September, 1864; and all persons interested in the Road Deviations in blocks XIV, XV, XVIII, XIX, XXIII, XXIV, XXV, XXVIII and XXIX of the said district, are requested to meet me at the South Clutha School-house, at noon of Friday, the 16th day of September, 1864, in reference to the proposed Road Deviations.

WAIPORI ROAD DISTRICT.
Notice is hereby given, that in pursuance of the “Roads Ordinance 1856,” and the “Roads Ordinance Amendment Ordinance 1862,” a Meeting of the persons within the recently proclaimed Road District of Waipori will be held at the School-House, within the said District, upon Wednesday, the 21st day of September, 1864, at 1 o’clock p.m., for the purpose of electing duly qualified persons to act as members of the Waipori District Board of Road Trustees.
Special attention is directed to the 7th and 9th sections of the “Roads Ordinance 1856,” regulating the proceedings for the election of District Road Boards.
