JETTY LIGHTS, GEELONG.—The following Notice to Mariners, respecting an alteration in the Jetty Lights at Geelong, is published at the request of the Honorable the Commissioners of Trade and Customs of Victoria for general information.

NOTICE TO MARINERS.

ALTERATIONS in Jetty Lights, Geelong.—On and after the evening of the 15th day of August, the two lights now exhibited on the old steamboat jetty will be discontinued, and four new gas lamps be lit on the Moorabool-street wharf, the outer lamp of which will be colored red towards the bay.

NOTICE TO CREDITORS.

BY DEED dated the eighteenth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-four, GEORGE ELDESHAW, of Albany-street, Dunedin, Baker, assigned unto Edward Bowes Cargill, of Dunedin, Merchant, and Alexander Williamson, of Dunedin, Merchant, all and singular his personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever, whether in possession or in action, and all his right, title, or interest therein or thereto, upon trust to sell, call in, and convert the same into money, and, after payment of all expenses, to divide the clear residue of the trust monies among all the creditors of the said George Eldershaw rateably according to the amount of their respective debts, and pay any surplus to the said George Eldershaw.

The said Deed is now lying at our offices for the signature of Creditors.

Dated this nineteenth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-four.

In the matter of “Debtors and Creditors Act, 1862,” and in the matter of the petition of JAMES MILLER and HENRY MILLER, trading in co-partnership under the style or firm of Miller and Co., of Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, Merchants; and in the matter of GEORGE DAVIES, of Dunedin aforesaid, now a prisoner for debt in Her Majesty’s Gaol at Dunedin.

NOTICE is hereby given that the above-named James Miller and Henry Miller have this day presented to His Honor Mr. Justice Richmond, and filed their petition, praying that the estate of George Davies, of Dunedin, Publican, be placed under sequestration for the benefit of all the Creditors of the said George Davies, in the manner provided for by the abovementioned Act, and that His Honor the Judge has accepted the same, and appointed Monday, the 19th day of September, 1864, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, at the Supreme Court-House, Dunedin, for hearing the above petition.

Dated at Dunedin this 16th day of August, 1864.
