admeasurement one thousand two hundred and twenty
seven (1227) acres more or less, situate in the South
Eastern District of the Province of Otago, bounded
towards the north by Crown Lands one thousand and
twenty-five (1025) links, also eleven thousand nine
hundred (11900) links towards the north east by
Cemetry reserve, two thousand links (2000) also by the
Township of Lawrence four thousand links (4000)
towards the east by Crown Lands, five thousand (5000)
links, towards the south-east by the Township of Law-
rence one thousand and twenty seven (1027) links by
Cemetry reserve five hundred (500) links, and also by
Crown Lands three thousand (3000) links, towards the
south by Crown lands three thousand eight hundred
(3800) links, four thousand five hundred (4500) links
and two thousand two hundred and sixty-three links
(2263) towards the south west by Crown Lands seven
hundred links (700) towards the west by Crown Lands
nine thousand two hundred and fifty (9250) links, also
one thousand six hundred and ninety (1690) links, and
towards the north west by Cemetry reserve five hun-
dred (500) links, as delineated in the selection map of
the said district, deposited in the Waste Land Board
Office of the said Province.

PROVINCE OF OTAGO.
GOVERNMENT LOAN, £50,000, OF 1861-62.
NOTICE is hereby given that Tenders will be
received at the Offices of the Provincial
Treasurer, Dunedin, until noon of the 15th June, 1864,
for the unallotted balance of the above Loan.
The Debentures, with Coupons attached, are issued
in sums of £50 and £100 each, bearing interest,
payable in Dunedin or elsewhere as may be agreed
upon, at the rate of 8 per cent. per annum.
Copies of the Ordinance under which the issue of
the above loan is authorised, and all other necessary
particulars relating thereto may be obtained on appli-
cation at the office of the Sub-Treasurer.

NORTHERN TRUNK ROAD.
TENDERS will be received at the office of the
Secretary of the Public Works, until noon of
Monday, 6th June, 1864, for contract for alterations on
Northern Trunk Road, at Sections 42 and 44, North
East Valley District.
Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of
Tender obtained at the office of the Road Engineer on
and after Wednesday, 1st June.
The Government do not bind themselves to accept
the lowest or any tender.

STEAMER "ST. KILDA."
NOTICE is hereby given that Tenders, under seal
for the purchase of the above vessel will be re-
ceived at the offices of the Provincial Secretary
Dunedin, until noon of the 25th June 1864.
The vessel may be viewed on application to the
Harbour Master, from whom all particulars respecting
her may be obtained.
The Government do not hold themselves bound to
accept any Tender made.
