NOTICE is hereby given, that FRANCIS KRULL, of Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, and colony of New Zealand, storekeeper, has by deed of conveyance and assignment, bearing date the twenty-third day of May, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-four, and made between the said FRANCIS KRULL of the first part, RICHARD BOWDEN MARTIN and WILLIAM ALFRED YOUNG, both of Dunedin aforesaid, merchants, of the second part, and the several other persons whose names and seals are thereunto subscribed and set, and who are also respectively named in the first schedule thereunder written being severally creditors in their own right, or in copartnership, or being agents or attorneys of creditors of the said FRANCIS KRULL, conveyed and assigned all his real and personal estate and effects to the said RICHARD BOWDEN MARTIN and WILLIAM ALFRED YOUNG in trust for all the creditors of the said FRANCIS KRULL. And Notice is hereby further given that the said deed now lies for signature, by and on behalf of the creditors of the said FRANCIS KRULL, at the office of Messrs. PRENDERGAST, KENYON and MADDOCK, in Manse street, Dunedin, aforesaid, solicitors.

NOTICE TO MARINERS. — The steamship “Prince Alfred” on her last passage from this Port to the Bluff Harbour struck on a reef, north Waipapa Point bearing N.N.W., about 3 miles, the least water found was two and a half fathoms with seven fathoms close to. Slope Point bore about E.N.E., 5 or 6 miles.

NOTICE TO MARINERS. — Otago Harbour, New Zealand. — BUOYS AND BEACONS — In order to their being more easily distinguished at night it has been deemed necessary to arrange the Buoys and Beacons in the Channel from the first anchorage to Dunedin Bay as follows: — BLACK mark — the port side of the Channel; RED — the starboard; STRIPED — that there is a passage on either side.

THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT GAZETTE.
SUBSCRIPTIONS will be at the rate of £1 per annum, or 5s. per quarter, payable in advance to the publisher. Single copies of the Gazette not to exceed 6d. Subscriptions can commence at any time, but must terminate not later than 31st December.
PRIVATE ADVERTISEMENTS will be charged by the Publisher at the rate of 6s. 6d. for every inch or fraction of an inch. One third having been added to the breadth of the Gazette column since the contract was accepted. One third has also been added to the price per inch for Advertisements. The total charge is stated at the foot of each Advertisement.
THE GAZETTE is published every Wednesday morning, and Notices for Insertion must be received at the Superintendent’s Office not later than 10 o’clock on the Tuesday preceding. Any irregularity in the receipt of the Gazettes which are given gratis by the Government should be reported at once to the Provincial Secretary.
