Appointment of Commissioners
Now know ye that I, Sir George Grey, the Governor of the said Colony, do hereby appoint
Robert Henry Forman, Esq., R.M.
James Hector, Esq., M.D., F.G.S.
James Rattray, Esq.,
to be Commissioners for the purposes aforesaid, to act within the Province of Otago, and to have, hold, and exercise all the powers competent to them during my pleasure.
Given under my hand, at Government House, at Auckland, this twenty-fourth day of March, in the year of Our Lord, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-four.

Notice is hereby given that Section No. 4, Block I., Warepa and Sections Nos. 40 and 41 and 72 and 2 of 81, Block VII., North Harbor and Blueskin District will be open for application on Friday, the 20th day of May next.

The Provincial Government Gazette
Subscriptions will be at the rate of £1 per annum, or 5s. per quarter, payable in advance to the publisher. Single copies of the Gazette not to exceed 6d. Subscriptions can commence at any time but must terminate not later than 31st December.
Private Advertisements will be charged by the Publisher at the rate of 6s. 6d. for every inch or fraction of an inch. One third having been added to the breadth of the Gazette column since the contract was accepted. One third has also been added to the price per inch for Advertisements. The total charge is stated at the foot of each Advertisement.
The Gazette is published every Wednesday morning, and Notices for Insertion must be received at the Superintendent’s Office not later than 10 o’clock on the Tuesday preceding. Any irregularity in the receipt of the Gazettes which are given gratis by the Government should be reported at once to the Provincial Secretary.
