APPOINTMENTS TO BE MADE.
CLERK for the Provincial Treasurer.
Apply in writing by noon of Saturday, 5th December, to the Provincial Treasurer.
REGISTRAR of Brands, (to act also as Clerk to the Chief Inspector of Sheep.)
Apply as above.
THREE District Engineers wanted for the Road Department. Applications, in writing, to be made to the Secretary of Public Works.
AN Assistant Engineer for the Road Engineer's Department.
Apply in writing, with Testimonials, to the Secretary of Public Works, on or before Saturday, 12th December.
AN Engineering Draughtsman for the Road Engineer's Department.
Apply in writing, with Testimonials, to the Secretary of Public Works on or before Saturday, the 19th December.
AN Assistant Engineer in the Marine Engineer's Department.
Apply to the Secretary of Public Works until noon of Tuesday, December 8th.
For information as to qualifications, &c., apply at the Marine Engineer's Office.
CLERK for Marine Engineer's Department. Apply in writing, with Testimonials, to the Secretary of Public Works on or before Friday, 4th December.

to be Superintendent of Public Buildings for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of the 17th Section of the βEducation Ordinance, 1862.β

BUSH LICENSES TO SELL SPIRITUOUS LIQUORS.
PARTIES intending to apply for Bush Licenses are hereby informed that such Licenses cannot be granted for any house situate within three miles of the nearest limit of any town, and that the word town shall, in future, be held to include all Townships within the Province, the lands of which have been opened for sale.

MOORINGS FOR MOLYNEUX BAY.
TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Provincial Secretary until noon of Tuesday, 22nd December current, for laying down the Moorings at Molyneux Bay.
