PROCLAMATION
Of the Appointment of Judges of Wardens Courts within the Province of Otago, under the "Gold Fields Act, 1858."
By the Honorable John Hyde Harris, Esquire, Superintendent of the said Province.
I, JOHN HYDE HARRIS, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power delegated to me in this behalf, appoint
LOWTHER BOARD, Esquire,
to be a Warden and Judge of all Wardens’ Courts now or hereafter to be constituted within the Province of Otago;
with power to him to act alone or with Assessors or Juries, and to exercise all or any of the powers in the "Gold Fields Act, 1858," mentioned, as His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand shall think fit to direct, but declaring that such appointment shall be deemed to be provisional only until the same shall have been confirmed and allowed by the Governor, and that the Governor shall have power to disallow the same.
Given under my hand at Dunedin, and issued under the Public Seal of the said Province, the first day of September, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three.

By virtue of the powers in me vested by the "Ferries Ordinance, 1856," I, the Superintendent of the Province of Otago, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, do hereby give notice that from and after the first day of September instant, the authorised fares
