PROCLAMATION

Applying to the Hospital in the Town of Clyde, in the Dunstan Gold Field, the provisions of the “Hospitals’ Ordinance, 1862.”

WHEREAS it is expedient that the provisions of the “Hospitals’ Ordinance, 1862,” should be applied to the Hospital in the Town of Clyde, in the Dunstan Gold Field;

Now therefore I, John Hyde Harris, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, with the advice and consent of my Executive Council, and by virtue of the powers vested in me by the aforesaid Ordinance, do hereby proclaim that the aforesaid Ordinance shall, from and after the publication hereof, be deemed and taken to apply to the Hospital aforesaid.

Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the said Province, this twenty-third day of June, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three.

NOTIFICATION

Of the Appointment of Port Chalmers Poundkeeper.

Superintendent’s Office,
Dunedin, 23rd June, 1863.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that by virtue of the powers vested in me by the “Impounding Ordinance, 1862,” I have appointed

David Kilgour,
of Port Chalmers, Settler,
to be Keeper of Port Chalmers Public Pound, situate on the Town Belt of Port Chalmers aforesaid, on the north-west side of the Road leading from the Town of Port Chalmers to Sawyer’s Bay, and distant about one chain from the said Road.
