NOTICE OF TENDERS REQUIRED FOR THE OFFICE OF THE PROVINCIAL ENGINEER.

Tenders will be received at the office of his Honor the Superintendent till noon of Tuesday, the 8th day of June, 1869, for the following works and purposes, viz.:

Repairing Road ... from the Asylum to the period stated
1st May last ... for the Hospital
Digging Gist Mains ... for the Hospital
Altering Water Closets ... at the Asylum
Providing and Fixing ... for ditto

Kalsomining and Papering ... ditto
Repairing Water Closets ... for the Hospital
Painting of Ward 9 ... ditto

Sir,—

I am directed to inform you that the tender of Mr. Wakelip, of Ashburton, for the erection of a bridge over the Hinds River, has this day been accepted by manual assent.

All moneys due to the late firm of Messrs Henry Hill and Co. reserved by this same reservation will be paid on application to the Provincial Treasurer.

TENDERS will be received at the office of His Honor the Superintendent till noon of Tuesday, the 8th day of June, 1869, for furnishing the following:

Timber, &c., to be delivered at Lyttelton

These specifications may be seen at the office of the Clerk of Works.
