Notice is hereby given, that the country comprised within the above Block having been surveyed, persons having claims for land therein must apply at the Land Office on or before Wednesday, the 6th day of May, so that their claims may be adjusted.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership heretofore existing between us, the undersigned, trading as Sheep Farmers, under the style of MOSGRAVE AND ANDERSON, has been dissolved by mutual consent, as and from the 9th day of March last past.
All claims against the late firm are to be sent to Messrs. Cargill & Co., for adjustment and settlement; and they are hereby authorised to receive all moneys due to the late firm.

ANALYSIS OF LIMESTONE.
Dunedin, 20th April, 1863.
Memo for Provincial Secretary, regarding a specimen of stone obtained about two miles and a half from Oamaru, and forwarded to this Department on the 13th instant for examination.
This is a semi-crystallized Limestone, of considerable purity. Some of the cavities are filled with an amorphous substance, colored with sesquioxide of iron.

SHIP “SILISTRIA.”
The following Report is published for general information:—
Immigration Department,
21st April, 1863.
To his Honor the Superintendent.
Sir— I have the honor to report that the ship “Silistria,” from the Clyde, arrived in port on the 19th instant, with 198 souls, of whom 121 adults were assisted by the Agents of the Provincial Government. Of this number there are 95 single females; the remainder of the assisted being friends of parties in the colony, who have guaranteed their passages through this office.
The females appear to me to be very suitable for the colony, being composed of an equal number of town and country servants.
The immigrants expressed themselves highly satisfied with the treatment they received on board. The provisions were of good quality, and abundant.
