TENDERS will be Received, at the Office of His Honor the Superintendent, until Noon of Tuesday, the 7th of April, for the Erection of a Bridge over the River Tokomairiro.

Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the office of the Provincial Engineer, and at the Police Office, Tokomairiro.

ANNUAL LICENSING MEETING.

In accordance with the Provisions of the Licensing Ordinance, Sess. 2, No. 12, I hereby give notice that the Annual Meeting of Justices for the purpose of taking into consideration Applications for Publicans’ Licenses from the entire District, will be held at the Court House, Dunedin, on Tuesday, the 21st day of April, 1863, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon. All persons having Applications to make are requested to give special attendance.

NOTE.—Special attention is directed to the fact, that all applications in accordance with the form in Schedule B, No. 19, must be lodged with the Clerk of the Bench, on or before the first Tuesday in April, or they will be of no avail.

NOTICE is Hereby Given, that the Annual Meeting of Justices for the purpose of taking into consideration all applications for Publicans’ Licenses for the ensuing year, will be held at the Resident Magistrate’s Court House, Kaitangata, on Tuesday, the 21st day of April, 1863.

Applications in accordance with the provisions of the Licensing Ordinance, Sess. 2, No. 19, must be lodged at this Office on or before Wednesday, the 7th day of April, 1863.

TUAPEKA HOSPITAL.

TUAPEKA MEETING OF CONTRIBUTORS.

In pursuance of the "Hospitals’ Ordinance 1862" a Public Meeting of the Contributors to the Hospital in the Town of Lawrence in the Tuapeka District, for the purpose of electing the Committee of Management, or transacting any other business of the said Institution, will be held at the Court House, Tuapeka, upon Wednesday, the eighth day of April, 1863, at twelve o’clock noon.

By Section 3 of the said Ordinance, it is enacted that the Contributors and other Officers of such Institutions respectively shall be elected by the majority of the Contributors, either of the annual sum of one pound, or of ten pounds in one sum as to the respective Resolutions to be called for the purpose of any such Election as hereinafter provided.

having arrived with a number of Assisted Immigrants, families requiring domestic servants of a superior class, are requested to apply to the Master of the Immigration Barracks, every lawful day, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
