The following is published for general information:—
Sir,—I have the honor to inform you that the Road, “Dunedin to Waikouaiti,” is now open for dry traffic as far as Blueskin Bay, and to request that a notice to this effect be published.

REGISTRATION.
THE form of Claim, with Description of Districts, may be obtained from John Gillies, Esquire, Returning Officer, Dunedin; at the various Police Offices on the Gold Fields; and at the Post Offices in the other parts of the Province, free of charge.
The claims must be lodged with the Returning Officer, Dunedin, on or before 31st March, 1863.
The form of Claim, with Description of Districts, is in the Provincial Government Gazette, of date 18th February, 1863, and the said Gazette may be purchased of A. R. Livingston, Bookseller, Dunedin, and may be seen at the various Post and Police Offices out of Dunedin, and also at the Ferry Houses of the Province.
