BURIAL OF PAUPERS.
TENDERS will be received at my office, Dunedin, until Tuesday, 20th Jan., 1863, at 4 o’clock, from parties willing to inter Paupers who may die in, or within three miles of, the Dunedin Hospital, during the period ending 31st Dec., 1863. Tender to include the Cemetery fees and all other expenses.
For description of Coffin and other information, apply to the Hospital-keeper.

FIREWOOD FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES.
TENDERS will be received at the Provincial Secretary’s Office, Dunedin, till four o’clock of Tuesday, 20th January, 1863, from parties willing to supply the Provincial Government Offices, Court House, Police Office, Hospital, and Gaol respectively, with Mauuka Firewood for the period ending 30th September, 1863. Tenders for the whole or any part may be given. The wood to be delivered in such quantities, and at such times, and stacked in such manner, as may be directed.

Delegating to the Superintendent of Otago certain powers under the Secondary Punishment Act, 1854.
By His Excellency Sir GEORGE GREY, Knight Commander of the Most Honorable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same, &c., &c., &c.
WHEREAS by the “Secondary Punishment Act, 1854,” it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the Governor by instructions under his hand to delegate to
I HEREBY CERTIFY that David O’Donoghue, of Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, has this day submitted for my examination his Diploma as a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, in accordance with the provisions of an Ordinance, passed by the Legislative Council of New Munster, Session I., No. 2, of 1849, intituled “An Ordinance to define the qualifications, and to provide for the remuneration in certain cases of Medical Practitioners.”
Dated at the Resident Magistrate’s Court, Dunedin, this 31st day of December, 1862.
