TENDERS will be received at the Provincial Secretary’s Office, Dunedin, until 4 o’clock, on Friday, December 5th, from parties willing to supply the following articles, in such quantities as may be required for the Dunedin Hospital :-
Sugar
Barley
Rice
Bread
Potatoes
Arrowroot
Yellow soap
Calico, bleached and unbleached.
The quality of the article must be to the satisfaction of the Provincial Surgeon.

TENDERS will be again received at the office of the Provincial Secretary, until four o’clock a.m. of Tuesday, December 9th next, for the Construction of about Nine Culverts, to be erected on the Main North Road, in the neighborhood of the township of Hampden.
Specification and sketch of culverts may be seen, and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Road Engineer, Dunedin. By Order, THOMAS DICK, Provincial Secretary, 1st December, 1862.
TENDERS will be received at the office of the Provincial Secretary, till 4 p.m. on Tuesday, 9th December current, for the erection of a Wooden Cottage for the Geological Survey Department. Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the office of the Provincial Engineer.

SALE OF CROWN LANDS.—From the form in which sales of Private Townships are occasionally advertised, they may be mistaken to be sales by order of the Government. The public, therefore, are requested to observe that all Government Land Sales are conducted by a Government officer, and that all notices of such Sales are signed by the Chief Commissioner of the Waste Land Board. REWARD.—Stolen or Strayed on 19th November, from the Government Road Party’s Camp, on Lammermuir Ranges, five miles on this side of Valpy’s store, 1 Strawberry Bullock, short horns, branded T U on both sides of rump; also, 1 White and Brown Bullock, with 1 horn broken, and branded A D on off rump. Whoever may return the same to Road Party, at above locality, or give such information to them as may lead to their discovery, will receive above reward. WEST TAIERI ROAD DISTRICT.
NOTICE is hereby given that the first Meeting of the Road Trustees, elected under the “Roads Ordinance Amendment Ordinance, 1862,” for the West Taieri Road District, will be held upon Friday, the 5th December, 1862, at the Schoolhouse within the said District, at 1 o’clock p.m., said Trustees having failed to meet as formerly advertised.

MAILS BETWEEN TUAPEKA AND DUNSTAN.
SEALED TENDERS will be received at this Office, or at the Post Office, Tuapeka Junction, on or before the 30th instant, from persons willing to carry mails from an early day in December, till the 30th June, 1863, as undermentioned:—
Between Tuapeka Junction Post Office, and the Post Office, Dunstan, by way of the Teviot, twice weekly—one day carrying letters only, and the other day carrying letters and newspapers.
Days and hours of arrivals and departures to be fixed from time to time by the Postmaster.
Tenders to be at “per annum,” and security will be required for the due fulfilment of the contract.
The Government will not be bound to accept the lowest, nor any of the tenders.
Tenders to be endorsed—“Tenders for mails between Tuapeka Junction and Dunstan.”
