THE FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS will be taken into consideration in the Provincial Secretary’s Office, upon the first Tuesday of December, 1862, at 11 o’clock a.m. Objections (if any) may be lodged at said Office, or stated when the cases are under consideration. Applicants must attend personally or by agent.

SEPARATE TENDERS will be received at the Office of His Honor the Superintendent, till 4 p.m. of Friday, the 28th day of November, 1862, for the supply of Timber, &c., Ironmongery, and Plumbers’ materials. Painting, &c. Particulars and forms of tender may be obtained at the office of the Provincial Engineer.

THE Time for Receiving Tenders for Supply of Articles for the Dunedin Gaol, as per list in Gazette, No. 214, and in the Times of Monday, 17th September, is hereby extended till 4 o’clock of Friday, 21st November, 1862.

DUNEDIN EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.—The Educational Board having resolved to combine North and South Dunedin Educational Districts, Notice is Hereby Given, that a public meeting of the owners and occupiers of land, and householders within the City of Dunedin and the Townbelt adjacent thereto, will be held within Dr Burns’ Church, upon Friday next, the 21st day of November, 1862, at half-past 7 o’clock, p.m., to elect a School Committee for the Educational District of Dunedin City.

TENDERS will be received at the office of the Provincial Secretary, until four p.m., on Friday, 28th November, for the forming and metalling of sixty one chains fifty two links of the roads from Clarendon township to Main South road. Plans and specifications may be seen at the Road Engineer’s office, Dunedin.
