SUPREME COURT,

Notice is hereby given that a sitting of the Supreme Court for the despatch of Criminal Business, will be held at the Court House Dunedin, on Tuesday, the 16th day of September next, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon, and that a sitting for the despatch of Civil Business will be held at the Court House aforesaid, on Tuesday, the 23rd day of September next, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, at which times and place persons under recognizance to appear as prosecutors, defendants, or witnesses are required to give their attendance.

WINE AND BEER LICENSES AND BOTTLE LICENSES.

All these Licenses presently in force expire upon the 30th day of September next. Notice is hereby given, that a Special Meeting of the Executive Council will be held at the Government Office, on Tuesday, the twenty-third day of the said month of September, at 10 o’clock a.m., to consider applications for the renewal of any of the aforesaid Licenses. Applications for renewal must be lodged at the Superintendent’s Office, Dunedin, on or before Friday, the 19th day of September.

OATS FOR POLICE DEPARTMENT.

Sealed Tenders, with sample, will be received at this office up to the 21st instant, for the supply of 500 bushels of Provincial or other Oats, bags included, delivered as per sample in such quantities as may be required during the period ending the 30th September next. Tenders to state the price per bushel, delivered in Dunedin.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of His Honor the Deputy Superintendent until 4 p.m. on Friday, the 22nd inst., for planking the Jetty-street Pier with three (3) inch Tasmanian Blue Gum. Specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Provincial Engineer.

TENDERS will be received at the office of His Honor the Deputy Superintendent until 4 p.m. on Friday, the 22nd inst., for the construction of a Goods Landing Stage, &c., &c., in connection with the present Jetty-street pier. Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the office of the Provincial Engineer.
