SIR,—We beg respectfully to tender for the supply of Stationery, &c., to the Provincial Government, at the following rates. These prices apply only to the supply of imported goods, not to those made specially to order in Dunedin, where wages are as yet unsettled, and much higher than in England.
Nevertheless, we would respectfully draw your notice to the many advantages offered by an establishment in being prepared to execute orders for Account Books throughout on our premises, having expensive cutting machines, ruling machines, and paging machines all here in operation.
