Gillies, of Princes-street, Dunedin,
solicitors for the within-named plaintiffs.

If you part with any of the defendant’s
property or pay him any debts due to him
you will become personally responsible to
the plaintiffs.

Notice.—The examination herein is
postponed till 27th instant.

THE following letter is published for
the information of Justices of the
Peace and others:—

Colonial Secretary’s Office,
Auckland, 9th May, 1862.

Sir,—In reply to your Honor’s letter,
No. 487, dated the 18th ultimo, respecting
the want of past enactments for the use of
new Justices of the Peace, I regret to state
that at present it is out of the power of the
Government to supply those Acts, as they
are out of print.

All Acts of the General Assembly are
published in the New Zealand Gazette,
and Justices of the Peace are supplied
with copies.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the
Partnership heretofore existing be-
tween the undersigned Joseph Darwent
and William Royse, carrying on busi-
ness as Shipping and Commission Agents,
in Stafford-street, Dunedin, in the Pro-
vince of Otago, New Zealand, has this day
been dissolved by mutual consent; and all
debts due by the said firm, as also all debts
due thereto, will be paid and received as
the case may be by the said William
Royse. And notice is hereby further given,
that the business of the said firm will in
future be carried on in the same premises
under the firm or style of “Royse, Mudie
and Company,”
as Shipping and Commis-
sion Agents as co-partners from the day
of the date hereof.

Dated this nineteenth day of May, one
thousand eight hundred and sixty-two.
