NOTICE OF HEARING.

Court of Claims, Otago,
3d May, 1862.

PURSUANT to the “Land Claims Settlement Act, 1856,” and the “Land Claims Settlement Extension Act, 1858,” the claims specified in the annexed Schedule will be investigated in open Court at Dunedin on Tuesday the 27th day of May instant, and the following days, at which time and place the claimants and all parties interested are required to attend with their witnesses, and the original deeds or documents relating to their respective claims.

Thomas Jones 256,000 { Tokato Point, Molyneux Bay This was an original claim, No. 127. Commissioners Godfrey and Richmond reported 21st Dec., 184-, that claimant had not appeared according to notice, and recommended no grant. The excuse for non-appearance was deemed sufficient, and Thomas Jones was admitted to prove his claim.
Thomas Jones 25,600 { At the Bluff, adjoining Weller’s and Polynesian Company This was an original claim, No. 127A, and is in the same position as the above.
Thomas Jones 25,600 { Tapanui Bay, east side of Otago Peninsula This was an original claim, No. 127B, and is in the same position as the above.
