PROCLAMATION,
By His Honor JAMES MACANDREW,
Esquire, Superintendent of the
Province of Otago.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of
the Province of Otago passed the
following Bills, intituled respectivelyβ€”
"Port Chalmers and Invercargill Town
Boards Ordinance, 1859,"
"Towns Roads and Streets Ordinance,
1859."

And whereas the said Bills were reserved
for the signification of the Governor's plea-
sure thereon; And whereas His Excel-
lency has been pleased to assent to the
same;

Now therefore I, the said James Mac-
andrew, Superintendent of the Province of
Otago, do hereby Proclaim that the said
Bills having been laid before the Governor
of New Zealand, His Excellency assented
to the same on the 31st day of January
1860.

Given under my hand, and is-
sued under the Public Seal of
the Province of Otago, at
Dunedin, this twenty-ninth
day of February, One Thou-
sand Eight Hundred and Sixty.

PROCLAMATION.

I, JAMES MACANDREW, Esquire, Su-
perintendent of the Province of Otago,
New Zealand, in pursuance of the authority in
me vested in that behalf, do hereby fix and
proclaim that the Ninth Session of the Pro-
vincial Council of the Province of Otago,
aforesaid, shall be holden, within the Council
Hall, in Dunedin, in the said Province, and
shall commence upon WEDNESDAY, the
Eleventh day of April next, at 12 o'clock
noon, and the Members of the said Council
are hereby warned to give their attendance
at the said time and place accordingly.

Given under my hand, and issued under
the Public Seal of the Province of
Otago, at Dunedin, this First day of
March, One thousand eight hundred
and sixty.

appointed
