DUNEDIN, 17th October 1859.—We, two of the Auditors appointed in pursuance of the “Board of Audit Ordinance,” Session II., No. 2, having examined the accounts of the Provincial Treasurer for the year ended 30th September 1859, find that they are correctly stated, duly authorised (except as appears by the accompanying note), and properly vouched; that the Receipts amounted to £68,776 9s. 6d. (including the Balance of £6,649 15s. 4d. in the hands of the Treasurer from last year), and the Expenditure to £42,710 11s. 6d., and that there then remained in the hands of the Treasurer a Balance of £26,065 18s.
