Dunedin, 24th April, 1857.—We, the Auditors appointed in pursuance of the Board of Audit Ordinance, Session II., No. 2, having examined the Provincial Treasurer’s Accounts for the Quarter ending 31st March, 1857, find that they are correctly stated, duly authorised, and properly vouched; that the Receipts amount to £6042 15s. 2d., and the Expenditure to £3615 6s. 10d., showing a Balance in the hands of the Treasurer of £3027 7s. 4d.
