Dunedin, 14th January, 1857.—We, the Auditors appointed in pursuance of the Board of Audit Ordinance, Session II., No. 2, having examined the Provincial Treasurer’s Accounts for the Quarter ending 31st December, 1856, find that they are correctly stated, duly authorised, and properly vouched, that the Receipts amount to £3154 1s. 5d., and the Expenditure to £3804 5s. 7d., shewing a Balance due to the Treasurer of £650 4s. 2d.
