PUBLIC HOLIDAY.

Dunedin, Otago,
14th January, 1856.

HIS EXCELLENCY the Governor is pleased to notify that Wednesday next, the 16th instant, will be observed as a Public Holiday in the Province of Otago, in celebration of the Glorious News of the Fall of Sebastopol, and of its occupation by the Allied Forces.

NOTICE.

Dunedin, Otago,
14th January, 1856.

HIS EXCELLENCY the Governor desires it to be notified that he will hold an undress Levee at Hillside Cottage, on Wednesday, the 16th inst., at Eleven o’clock, a.m.

At One o’clock, p.m., His Excellency will attend at the Mechanics’ Hall to receive any deputations or addresses.
