β¨ Jetty and Wharf Ordinance
Jetties and Wharves, and all buildings and machinery necessary for the same.
Also to levy Tolls, Dues, and Wharfages, not exceeding the rates set forth in the Schedule hereto annexed, unless by resolution of at least two-thirds of the said Commissioners shall the levying of other and higher rates shall have been authorised.

And further, to make such Rules and Byelaws for the management of such Public Jetties and Wharves, and the approaches thereto, as shall be agreed upon at any General Meeting of the said Commissioners shall be: Provided always that the said Rules and Byelaws shall be made dependent of the Provincial Council approved, and assented to by the Superintendent and Executive Government Gazette, before they become the force of law.

This Ordinance shall come into operation from and after the day of the passing thereof.
