Amendments to Rules and Standards for Class 4 Gambling Equipment
I, Maarten Quivooy, General Manager Regulatory Services Group, Department of Internal Affairs, give notice of
amendments to the Gambling Act (Class 4) Game Rules 2016 and the Minimum Technical Requirements for Class 4
De-Centralised Off-Line Cash-In-Ticket-Out Systems for Class 4 gambling equipment. The rules were amended
under section 367 of the Gambling Act 2003 (“Act”), and the standard was amended pursuant to section 327 of the
Act.
These changes will take effect on 22 September 2017.

www.dia.govt.nz, or by writing to Gambling Compliance, Department of Internal Affairs, PO Box 805, Wellington
6140.

Reappointments and Appointments to the Accreditation Council
Pursuant to section 28(1)(a) of the Crown Entities Act 2004 and section 34(1) of the Standards and Accreditation
Act 2015, the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs has reappointed to the Accreditation Council
