Notice is hereby given that we intend to remove the above-named companies from the Register, pursuant to section 318(1)(e) of the Act, on the grounds that the duties of the liquidators have been completed and the liquidators have sent to the Registrar the documents referred to in section 257(1)(a) of the Act.

Any objection to the removals, under section 321 of the Act, must be lodged to the Registrar together with grounds for such objection no later than 27 September 2017.

Notice to Remove Limited Partnership From the Register

Pursuant to Section 320(2) of the Companies Act 1993 (“Act”) and Section 92 of the Limited Partnerships Act 2008

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to section 318(1)(e) of the Act, the Limited Partnership Registrar will be removing SCL INDUSTRIES LIMITED PARTNERSHIP from the Limited Partnership Register on the grounds that the liquidator has completed his duties.

The liquidator has delivered his final report on the liquidation, in terms of section 257(1) of the Act, to the Limited Partnership Registrar.

Any objections to the removal, pursuant to section 321 of the Act, must be delivered to the Limited Partnership Registrar no later than 27 September 2017.

Notice of Exemption From Maritime and Marine Protection Rules

Pursuant to sections 47(3) and 395(3) of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, the Director of Maritime New Zealand hereby notifies the granting, during the period from 23 June 2017 to 14 August 2017, of the following exemptions:

  • 1 from Maritime Rule 31.25(1) – Crewing and Watchkeeping – General crewing and other requirements – Duty of crew to hold certificates and to be able to demonstrate ancillary proficiencies – Specific certificate or endorsement or higher grade of certificate or endorsement.

  • 1 from Maritime Rule 31.42(a) – Crewing and Watchkeeping – SOLAS and STCW ships – Minimum watchkeeping and special crewing requirements – Prescribed endorsements or ancillary proficiencies as required by a Minimum Safe Crewing Document.

  • 1 from Maritime Rule 31.42(c) – Crewing and Watchkeeping – SOLAS and STCW ships – Minimum watchkeeping and special crewing requirements – Ships operating within coastal and offshore limits.
