may also recover the cost of testing for bovine tuberculosis pursuant to the Biosecurity Act 1993 and the
Biosecurity (Deer and Other Testing Costs) Regulations 1998.

Failure to comply with the requirements of this notice may result in prosecution under the Biosecurity Act 1993.
If convicted, an individual will be liable to a term of imprisonment not exceeding three months, or a fine not
exceeding $50,000.00, or both. A corporation convicted of an offence is liable to a fine not exceeding $100,000.00.

Revocation

The declaration issued on 28 January 2016 in regard to movement controls for bovine tuberculosis and published
in the New Zealand Gazette, 28 January 2016, Issue No. 7, Notice No. 2016-gs438, and in Farmers Weekly on
22 February 2016, is hereby revoked with effect from 1 March 2017.

Summary of Changes

This declaration has the effect of extending movement controls for bovine tuberculosis to an area north and
north-east of Dunedin City, marked as \"Movement Control Area Expansion\" in the maps published with this
notice.
