Cessation of Anti-dumping Duties on Plasterboard From Thailand

The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment notifies that, pursuant to section 14(9) of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988, anti-dumping duties on standard plasterboard from Thailand ceased to be payable with effect from 17 July 2017. These duties were suspended until 30 June 2019, with effect from 1 June 2014. No anti-dumping duty was being collected during the suspension period.

The anti-dumping duties elapsed permanently on 17 July 2017 because at that date the goods were not subject to review and five years had passed since the date of the notice of the reassessment of the duty following a review carried out under section 14(8) of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988.

Notice of Direction to Appoint a Limited Statutory Manager for the Onepoto School (1400) Board of Trustees

Under section 78M of the Education Act 1989, with delegated authority from the Minister of Education, I hereby direct the appointment of a limited statutory manager for the Onepoto School (1400) Board of Trustees.

  1. The following functions, powers and duties of the board are to be vested in a limited statutory manager;
    a. All functions, powers and duties of the board as an employer (whether statutory or otherwise);
    b. all functions, powers and duties of the board in curriculum management including teaching and learning (whether statutory or otherwise); and
    c. all functions, powers and duties of the board to establish policies and procedures (whether statutory or otherwise).

  2. The board will retain its primary duty of care as a person conducting a business or undertaking, under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, above and beyond all functions, powers and duties of this limited statutory manager.

This notice takes effect on the date of publication.
