Notification of Proposed Marine Protection Rules

In accordance with sections 446(a) and (b) of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, the Ministry of Transport, on
behalf of the Minister of Transport, gives notice of the Minister’s intention to make amendments to the following
Marine Protection Rule:

Marine Protection Rules Part 102: Certificates of Insurance

Comments are invited on the proposed amendments developed under the Maritime Transport Act 1994.

The draft rule amendment and consultation document can be found at:
www.transport.govt.nz/ourwork/currentlyconsultingon/.

Submissions, either by email or post, must be received by 5.00pm on Wednesday 2 August 2017.
