Application to Film Marine Mammals

Pursuant to section 5(5) of the Marine Mammals Protection Act 1978, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Operations Manager, Whangarei, Department of Conservation, notifies that he has received a permit application from Kowhai Media Limited to film marine mammals off Poor Knights Islands.

A copy of the application can be obtained from the Department of Conservation, Christchurch Shared Services Unit, Private Bag 4715, Christchurch Mail Centre, Christchurch 8140, or online at www.doc.govt.nz/get-involved/have-your-say/open-for-your-comment.

Any person wishing to make a submission on this application can do so by writing to the Conservation Partnerships Manager, North Canterbury District, c/o Bethan Parry, Christchurch Shared Services Unit, Private Bag 4715, Christchurch Mail Centre, Christchurch 8140, within 28 days after publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Unless a person making a submission states to the contrary in the submission, that person will be deemed to give his/her consent to the release under the Official Information Act 1982 of all the information in the submission.

Notice of Granting a Scheduled International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 41(1) of the State Sector Act 1988, section 87N(4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 28 November 2016, I hereby give notice that the General Manager, Aviation and Maritime, Ministry of Transport, has granted PJSC Aeroflot-Russian Airlines, a Scheduled International Air Service Licence permitting the airline to carry on code-share services to Auckland, New Zealand, via Guangzhou, China. The licence has been issued for an indefinite term.

The licence took effect on 6 June 2017.
