Land to be Declared a Walkway—Waipu Caves, Whangarei District

Under section 31 of the Walking Access Act 2008, I declare that the land described in the Schedule below shall be a walkway and is assigned the name Waipu Cave Track.

I have appointed the Department of Conservation to be the controlling authority for this walkway.

Crown Minerals (Prohibition of Granting or Extending Permits) Declaration 2017

This declaration is issued pursuant to section 28A of the Crown Minerals Act 1991 and declares that permits other than petroleum will not be granted, or extended, in relation to specified land during the specified period.

Notice

  1. Title—This notice is the Crown Minerals (Prohibition of Granting or Extending Permits) Declaration 2017.

  2. Commencement—This notice commences on 5 July 2017.

  3. Application—This notice applies to the specified permits, during the specified period, in relation to the seabed or subsoil of the land area described in the Schedule to this notice.

  4. Interpretation—(1) In this notice, unless the context requires otherwise:

    specified period means the period 5 July 2017 to 4 July 2019.

    specified permits means all permits for minerals other than petroleum.

    (2) Words used but not defined in this notice have the same meaning as words defined in the Crown Minerals Act 1991.

  5. Declaration—The specified permits will not be granted, or extended, during the specified period in relation to the seabed or subsoil of the land area described in the Schedule to this notice.
