Notice Under the Food Act 2014 (Notice No. MPI 761)

Pursuant to section 408 of the Food Act 2014, notice is given of the issue on 25 May 2017 of the Food Notice: Requirements for Food Control Plans and National Programmes, which comes into force on 1 July 2017.

A copy of the notice may be inspected free of charge or purchased at a reasonable cost from the office of the Ministry for Primary Industries, Pastoral House, 25 The Terrace (PO Box 2526), Wellington.

Excise and Excise-equivalent Duties Table (Alcoholic Beverages Indexation) Amendment Order 2017

Notice is hereby given of the making, pursuant to section 79 of the Customs and Excise Act 1996, of an order adjusting the excise and excise-equivalent duties on alcoholic beverages.

Notice

Title of order—This order is the Excise and Excise-equivalent Duties Table (Alcoholic Beverages Indexation) Amendment Order 2017.
Commencement—The order shall come into force on 1 July 2017.
Effect of order—This order will adjust the excise and excise-equivalent duties on alcoholic beverages to reflect the movement in the Consumers Price Index (excluding credit services) over the 12-month period ending on 31 March 2017.
Availability—A copy of the order can be viewed at the New Zealand Customs Service website: www.customs.govt.nz or ordered by mail from New Zealand Customs Service, PO Box 2218, Wellington 6140 (attention: Corporate Services).
