Application to Film Marine Mammals
Pursuant to section 5(5) of the Marine Mammals Protection Act 1978, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Operations Manager, Blenheim, Department of Conservation, notifies that he has received a permit application from Spindrift Images to film marine mammals in Kaikoura using an RPAS.
A copy of the application can be obtained from the Department of Conservation, Christchurch Shared Services Unit, Private Bag 4715, Christchurch Mail Centre, Christchurch 8140, or online at www.doc.govt.nz/getinvolved/have-your-say/open-for-your-comment.
Any person wishing to make a submission on this application can do so by writing to the Operations Manager, Blenheim, Department of Conservation, c/o Bethan Parry, Christchurch Shared Services Unit, Private Bag 4715, Christchurch Mail Centre, Christchurch 8140, within 28 days after publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
Unless a person making a submission states to the contrary in the submission that person will be deemed to give his/her consent to the release under the Official Information Act 1982 of all the information in the submission.

Notice of Suspension of Approval of an OSCAR Service
The Director, Approvals, Ministry of Social Development, gives notice that the approval of Ethiopian Sport and Cultural Club as an Out of School Care and Recreation (OSCAR) provider under Regulations 26 and 27 of the Social Security (Childcare Assistance) Regulations 2004 is suspended effective as of 24 May 2017.

Customs (Advance Notice of Departure) Amendment Rules 2017
Pursuant to sections 288(1)(a) and 288(12) of the Customs and Excise Act 1996, the chief executive hereby makes the following amendments to the Customs (Advance Notice of Departure) Rules 2014.
Rules
- Title and Commencement—(1) These rules may be cited as the Customs (Advance Notice of Departure) Amendment Rules 2017.
(2) These rules shall come into force on 30 June 2017.

Interpretation—In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires:
a. Act means the Customs and Excise Act 1996.
b. Principal Rules means the Customs (Advance Notice of Departure) Rules 2014.
Any terms used in these rules which are defined in section 2 of the Act shall have the meanings given to them by that section.
