Pursuant to section 15(1) of the Reserves Act 1977, and a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, Miriam Grace Taris, Chief Executive Officer, Western Bay of Plenty District Council, hereby authorises the exchange of the local purpose reserve (esplanade) described in the First Schedule for the land described in the Second Schedule.

Cancellation of a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338(5)(b) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court dated 4 November 2016, the Māori reservation existing over the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 10 January 2013, No. 1, page 50, is to be cancelled.
