Notice Relating to Standard Incorporated by Reference in the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010

  1. Under section 32 of the Electricity Industry Act 2010, the Electricity Authority gives notice that the Electricity Industry Participation Code Amendment (Requirements and Processes for Audits) 2016, signed on 27 June 2016 and coming into force on 1 June 2017, incorporates the following standard:

• AS/NZS ISO 9001:2016 Quality management systems - Requirements.

  1. The standard is available for inspection by appointment free of charge at the Electricity Authority, Level 7, ASB Bank Tower, 2 Hunter Street, Wellington during the hours 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

  2. The standard may be purchased from Standards New Zealand at www.standards.govt.nz.

Notice Under Section 45 of the Takeovers Act 1993

Pursuant to section 45 of the Takeovers Act 1993, the Takeovers Panel on 19 May 2017 granted the exemption contained in the Takeovers Code (Rangatira Limited) Exemption Notice 2017.

Land Transport Rule: Traffic Control Devices 2004 - Directional Cycle Traffic Signals Trial

Pursuant to subclause 3.4(1) of the Land Transport Rule: Traffic Control Devices 2004 (“Rule”) and a delegation from the NZ Transport Agency, I, Glenn Bunting, Network Manager, authorise the installation and maintenance of directional cycle traffic signal displays, incorporating a cycle symbol and an arrow, to control the movement of cycle traffic in different directions at different times:

a. for the purpose described in Schedule 1;

b. in the form and layout set out in Schedule 2;

c. at the locations stated in Schedule 3;

d. for the period specified in Schedule 4; and

e. subject to the evaluation outlined in Schedule 5.

The directional cycle traffic signal displays may be installed for the purpose of evaluating their use and the trial will be called the “directional cycle traffic signals trial”.
