22A 1 10 Puketona Junction The section of State Highway 10 at Puketona from 150m north of State Highway 11 to 150m south of State Highway 11. Any time during any period specified in condition 3 of the Variable Speed Limits at Rural Intersections Notice when a variable speed limit sign installed on the section of State highway displays the numerals “70”, the speed limit is 70km/h. 26A 1 10 Oruaiti The section of State Highway 10 at Oruaiti from 755m east of Simmental Lane to 1145m east of Simmental Lane. The variable speed limit may operate for a maximum period of:

a. 35 minutes before the start of school until the start of school;

b. 20 minutes at the end of school, being no earlier than five minutes before the end of school; and

c. 10 minutes at any time when vehicles are entering or leaving the school grounds or there is pedestrian or cycle activity on the road outside the school as specified in the New Zealand Gazette, 18 August 2016, Issue No. 72, Notice No. 2016-au4743. When a variable speed limit sign installed on the section of State highway displays the numerals “60”, the speed limit is 60km/h.
